trip to the zoo today with ser and gj; it's been many, many years since we went there we could hardly remember anything of it. we played tourists for a day and went around snapping away at the animals with our cameras!
to name a few, you have the orangutans which seem to be enjoying their carefree lifestyle swinging from tree to tree or lazing at a corner, the leopard which doesn't stop pacing to and fro in its cage, the meerkats which are uber cute in their sentry position, the stoic zebra which looks almost statued to the ground if not for the moving tail, the white butterfly which we snapped many tens of photos of and so on.
great break from work and a good chance to put photography skills to practice!


anyway i found this photo tool (http://www.comeeko.com) which many people are using now where you can arrange your photos into a comic strip. there're also effects and dialouge/textboxes to play around with! go try it for yourself!

yeah i'm great. 2 days of work and i'm doing nothing much except sitting at my desk and fighting to stay awake till the time comes to go home. wow.

finally comes the day when i can sign for myself on the consent form,

it's nearing the end of study break and i'm stuck at home rotting my time away with not much of internet access (lol!), obviously in no mood to study. 3 papers to study for, 2 of which are qualitative so time shd be more than sufficient i hope.

some highlights before and after school ended.

the shanghai tang group. too bad we dint manage to win the boutique stay! ohwells at least we all had fun dressing up and laughing at each other!

the biggest highlight has got to be the birthday celebration! actually i have nothing much to say about it; everything's in the head :) it was a great party and i'm really grateful for all the birthday wishes and presents! thanks to those who came down; sorry to those i dint get a chance to talk to! i guess that's the thing with birthday parties; i felt a lil lost many times cos i simply dint know what to do with all the crowd and noise going on. anyhow it was a really MEMORABLE 21ST!
anyway this has got to be one of the few complete family photos i have; my sister seems to have outgrown me ugh!

i finally bought the dvds when i chanced upon it on sale that day! wrong timing you would say but who cares!

btw did i mention that i got my internship with stb and am starting work on the 21st? there goes my entire summer holidays :(

last week was a mad rush for 2 of the most taxing and nerve-wrecking presentations which were thankfully delivered smoothly. now there's only a report to be done and counting down to the party :)
