shut up.

i've decided to stop blogging.

i realized most of my posts turned out to be more narrative than reflective, which i had originally intended the blog to be. i'm kinda tired of the somewhat pretentious happiness when there's really so much more that's not known to others but which i often find very hard to blog about for various reasons.

so, instead of blogging, i've decided to transform the blog into some random photo gallery, prob with some quotes and what-not now and then.

met up with a couple of my sec3/4 classmates for dinner on friday. it's been a good few years since i've last seen most of them and i can't say how excited i was to see them again!
you know how we always talk about not having the time to meet up as we are all studying in different schools, coupled with the hectic school schedules, yada yada; really, those are excuses which can be resolved by a simple initiative to set a date and time to meet. i've decided that this shall be my second new year resolution - catching up with the friends i've lost touch with for various reasons!
anyway it was a great evening spent updating one another about our lives and filling each other in on the happenings of our fellow classmates since we graduated :)


it was jia's birthday on saturday. HAPPY 19TH :)

so it's the beginning of a new year again. now as i try to, i cant really remember much of what happened in 2007. 2 semesters of school summarized by intensive mugging and stressful times to meet deadlines; people relationships were put to the test, some grew closer while others drifted apart.

after much thought, i've decided that my new year resolution for 2008 is to let bygones be bygones and start everything on a fresh slate. no past grudges or prejudices shall be brought forward to the new year; hopefully that'll make life easier and much happier :)

we've twenty three of us and 2 weeks in chiang mai

the meat at granny's house will vanish all the time
the host at football field serves exotic delights
the roosters on the farm will wake you up all night

now that construction's done it's time to say goodbye
it is with heavy hearts that we will leave chiang mai
but though we're far apart our friendships will remain
forever in our thoughts until we meet again

cos life is unpredictable dont save the best for last
we wont forget the time of our lives.

it's a lot harder than i thought to blog abt the oracle trip; somehow memories of the time spent there seem to be fading away real fast it feels like a dream. it's kinda hard to answer when someone asks me about the trip because there is just so much to say about it yet i dont really know what to say except that it was an undoubtedly awesome trip.

so i've decided to just let the photos do the talking :)
