hello guys, meet my new friend, cinko!

lol this was a christmas present from my boss at my workplace. somehow it's been
years since i've received a soft toy (do you remember the secondary school phase when everyone gives everyone else soft toys during birthdays lol!) which probably explains why i'm all excited abt this new personified toy i've even started talking to it!
i'm finally back after a great 3 weeks in chiangmai/bangkok! before i talk about my awesome trip, i shall wish
PING a
HAPPY 21ST first;

and hope everyone else had a
MERRY CHRISTMAS this year!
gosh i'm flying off in a few hours' time! just finished packing my bag which is HUMONGOUS; i had a hard time trying to squeeze everything in! i made the dumbest blunder of reading the wrong scale and getting myself freaked out over the overweight 23kg bag to realize it's actually 23lbs, in other words, 12 kg lol. so much for the scare!
if you ask me if i'm all ready for or excited abt the trip, i can hardly say so; i'm more like
really nervous. yeah i was all excited abt the trip initially as this was something i've always wanted to experience but the reality of it happening in just a few hours' time is too immediate to be tahaned! this is the first time i'm leaving home for ohmygoodness almost 3 weeks to a foreign village in chiangmai, where language and communication is a huge barrier, with a group of people whom i'm not
that comfortable with presently since we barely know each other that well from the few faci sessions we had. i'll miss everything of the familiarity back in singapore - family, friends, bed, tv, food and i can go on and on and on but you get the point. i'm sure this will be a really good experience no matter how it turns out (i've learnt not to keep my expectations high) so yup, be open, accept whatever comes and make the best out of my time there!
with that said, fare thee well and till i come back on the 24th with updates!
