i seem to be busy with a million things; 24 hours really seem too short for a day. i guess that's pretty much cos i'm working and working takes up almost half the day and drains you of your energy even though you nv do anything much. and after you exclude the barely sufficient sleeping hours, you realize the scarce number of hours you're left with each day for other stuff, which revolves primarily around bondue camp, nitebike, gym, dinners and shopping. and yes, family (again) seems to be the at the end of the priority list, perhaps because you know that you'll go home eventually at the end of the day and still do spend a considerable number of your precious hours there (although the time's mostly spent sleeping in bed!) i'm trying hard not to neglect my family and i feel quite guilty about spending most of my time out cos i feel that they've been really accomodating towards me these days and i dont really want to misplace that trust. speaking of which, i finally dropped the bomb on my mother about the thailand trip after much subtle hinting here and there and she relented despite all her misgivings! yay so you see why i wanna be a good girl and try to spend more time at home yeah?
despite being so busy, i'm proud to say that i'm actually enjoying life now like i did the period before university. somehow, working and being financially independent bestows upon one the freedom of an adult and i quite like this feeling :) which is why i'm actually looking forward to my career after graduation! plus, i feel that i'm leading a rather fulfilling life, involving myself in various school and social activities. also, i've sorted out my thoughts about certain matters; the old whatever la! hui is back lol. i'm not going to bother myself with things/people which/who are not worth my concern or are well beyond my control. what will be will be; since you cant please everyone, why not just heck it and please yourself! selfish mentality but whatever!
anyway work's been good so far :) the people in the company are nice and funny. no more complaints about the lackof lunch buddy! i'm enjoying the good food around my area, thanks to another addition to the temp staff (previously standing at 1) in the company who happens to be my age but studying in nus! lunch partners are still welcome :) i'll treat you to my favourite after-meal desserts - peanut ice kachang and cheese tarts!
