went to the bird park for the first time today! i've always thought the bird park was some smelly, run-down place with birds flying about everywhere but it was totally the opposite. anyway i wasn't there for pure touring; i was there with ping to work as station masters under some events company for this nus computer club family day event. great fun, great food! since it was my first time there, i took the opportunity to tour the place and was quite fascinated with the birds - macaws, flamingoes, mandarin ducks (issn't it sweet that they mate for life and always swim in pairs?), pelicans, emus, swans and PENGUINS! see how self-entertained we were :)
